OK so the two issues in the title of this post have been looked at in great detail over the years and we have discovered many solutions that work for both. However, I found it interesting that there's a hidden option to play the games without needing the game discs actually implemented by the developers but hidden in the game's code. This is surely the easiest method yet at running the games without needing the CDs in the drive to play. There's also a slightly extended look at the 'Backdoors' memory fix for too much RAM. I personally haven't tested the 'NoCD' fix so can't verify if it works or not.
