I use PE and for some reason, all of a sudden, my screen stays windowed and not going to full screen. I did just install 5.04. Could that be the problem?

Possibly, the Shaders had an update to fix issues in WIndows 7. Remove any mods sweetfx, reshade etc.

No mods installed.

Don't know maybe send the logs and system details to support. Check for other GPU tools installed and try removing them. Afterburner etc..
If it's a laptop make sure it's using the main GPU not intel.

I uninstalled and reinstalled everything up to WOFF PE v5.03. Things are back to normal. I don't know why, but they are.

OK jakethescott glad you are running OK. It must be something in combination with the updated DX shaders in 5.04. However no-one else has reported an issue so likely some clash with something on your PC as I say.

What an idiot I am. The problem was that my desktop display settings were set for 1680 x 1050. My in-game setting was set at 1366 x 768. Once I figured out what the problem was, I made the corrections in-game and now everything is the way it's supposed to be, when upgraded to v5.04.. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks. Or, in this case, an old dog can learn new tricks.
