Some sci-fi comedy for us nerds.

I never bought into the new series, I thought it was cheap and uninteresting. I prefer my Cylons to be shiny with red lights for eyes.

To each their own of course. It's also really not fair to compare the two series to each other since they were targeted at very different audiences. The original BSG was mainly targeted at kids and teens while the reimagined BSG was targeted exclusively at adults.

LOL!!! Great video! ...although I'm with Chucky regarding the series. The new one reminded me of 'The Bold and the Beautiful' in terms of production style. Sci-Fi shouldn't have kissing in it.

Here's another video which I first noticed a couple of years ago. I've always known that John Lennon had a rather acerbic sense of humor and it really shows here when he's talking to Dusty Springfield.

The commentary here is simply pure gold.
Gotta love the hairdressers smoking while they're at work. It certainly was a different era.

John Cleese has done a lot of commercials over his career.

Yup. One of his earliest I remember was for Sony's C6 Betamax video recorder(If I remember correctly) where he had a cat to demonstrate how easy it was to use.
Yes, I bought one and it was horribly expensive. This was around 1980-81.

I distinctly remember seeing magazine ads for IBM PC's back in the 1980's where the retail price was $6,000 or more., Most consumer electronics during that era was expensive.

A few days ago I was looking for a better chuck for my lathe and ended up going down a "Chuck Yeagers Air Combat" rabbit hole for about 15 minutes and ran across this PDF issue of Computer Gaming World from 1991, browse through and look at the ads for games / PC's and their prices:
