Coot, if that was in upstate New York, it was probably Cole Palin's Rhinebeck air show that you attended. If it was, then that was a Sopwith Pup that they were flying against that Tripe. Lived in New York, and used to go there. They put on a show every Saturday and Sunday. I recently was told that they are still doing it. It's been going on since the 1960's.

Was thinking of taking my 10 year old son there.
Let him try out Flying Circus then show him the real thing.

You're probably right Pooch on the Pup. I saw them at the Tico Airshow in Florida but perhaps they are the same team and do an airshow circuit?
