It's most certainly a very different vibe due to the different setting but this is only 1 episode out of 8. For me I will reserve my final judgement until I've watched the entire season.

And besides, rumor has it that this will be the final season anyway when you analyze where the story is going.

As a movie, I enjoyed it. I'm not familiar enough with the actual events to comment on the historical (or lack of) accuracy.

Finally watched "Signs" from 2002. What a monumental waste of time and film. ALL the performances were wooden, the pacing was straight out of a recovery ward, and the cinematography was amateurish, relying FAR too heavily on gimmick shots. On top of it, the aliens...who were quite humanoid...couldn't come into contact with water. So the "bad guy" was basically the Wicked Witch of the West. I haven't laughed so hard at the reveal since "Zardoz".

Far too much wrong with this monstrosity to have been anything but the fault of the director, who also wrote it. Remarkable, considering it was the same person who gave us "The Sixth Sense" just three years earlier.

SALUTE TO ALL!

I am surprised they allowed the show to continue after the samurai episode.

What did you do in the War Daddy? https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0061176/
Dick Shawn, James Coburn, Harry Morgan, Carroll O'Connor, & a very lovely Giovanna Ralli as the mayors daughter.

I am not sure if it is because I had seen the movie several years ago and knew most of the story or I have just gotten old but I did not find it nearly as funny as I remembered. There were still a few laugh out loud moments though.

It's good to see that the people who were complaining about everything 10 years ago evolved... not-at-all since I quit this place. wink

Been rewatching some old Columbo episodes. They're still great smile

Things I always watch for:
The moment Columbo suspects a death is a murder.
The moment Columbo realises he's talking to the murderer.
The thing, during the murder, that will eventually give him/her away.
The moment a murderer realises he's underestimated Columbo.

Some, all or none of the above exist, but its fun smile

The Invisible Man 2020. Don't believe all the good reviews. This movie sucks.

So your sole opinion outweighs the opinion of all of those critics so we shouldn’t bother seeing it for ourselves. Got it.

I posted my opinion. Whether you want to take it or not it's up to you. I did not say :

"EVERYONE DON'T WATCH THIS MOVIE BECAUSE I SAY IT SUCKS!"

You are the one who interpret it that way.

Why are you so rude?

But I don't see you criticizing JimK in the same way you criticized me for saying he didn't like Rise of Skywalker.

'Knives Out' https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8946378/

I really loved this one. Daniel Craig,Jamie lee Curtis,Don Johnson,Toni Collette and Christopher Plumber to name a few. 97% on RT and deserves it.

Unlike Rise of Skywalker. Couldn't finish it,I thought it was terrible. Guess I'm just not into SW any more.

Well you said "Don't believe all the good reviews. This movie sucks." and that comes across as a very strong to "Don't watch it" when I read it.

The Hunt. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8244784/ Didn't need the message of it! Get enough of that from the news and media every day. Wasted 90 minutes!

Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn (2020). I enjoyed this film and Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn is fun to watch.
