either the Chinese or the EU will soon come with something, even if not 100% effective it will be worth a try.
Quoted, well just because plain old backwards American medicine has saved my life a couple of times.

Sure hope I get to pass on the contracted and immune part. 69 yrs old with maybe between 45% to 60% lung function on a good day makes me a prime candidate for a body bag if I get it.
Wow, stay safe because you are most definitely in the high risk group. A Cold War era style underground steel bunker would be ideal for you right now.

DON'T PANIC! (Thank You Douglas Adams.) I am 75 and my warranty ran out at 70. That is when several, taken for granted, operations scaled down but thanks to the supposedly horrible U,S. healthcare system I am still kicking. (Fortunately not the bucket though.) Everything is all Chicken Little right now but, unless the Planet has decided a cull of Humanity is necessary, it will pass. If it does not, oh well.

Agreed Sunchaser.
I figure I have been living the bonus round since I was declared cancer free in late 2015, so it's all good.

Saw on the news tonight that a guy in Washington state who had the virus was one of the ones given one of the medicines mentioned in today's press conference (can't remember which one and probably would butcher the spelling anyway) and he said he was symptom free in 48 hours. I'm not calling a party planner, but I'm cautiously optimistic.
SALUTE TO ALL!
