I think it would add a "Realistic", fun and challenging dynamic if you had to assist in various station management of a tank/vehicle if that particular crewman was disabled/injured during a battle.

Will this sim model this?

If so, how would you drive that vehicle if the driver was disabled. Would you be allowed to manually operate that vehicle as you would have to in a Real emergency?

I would love to be able to drive the vehicle/tank manually out of harms way while my gunner took care of business or vice versa.

If some vehicles don't have driving stations modeled or not fully implemented how would we do this? Especially if there are no able bodied crewmen availible except for yourself???

I know with SB1 that if your loader is killed, it takes longer for rounds to be loaded. If your TC is killed, he will no longer identify targets. I am not sure about the driver and SB Pro PE however.

Pro PE also allows crew repair/replacement. Drive a Medic track up to the tank, give it a few minutes, and hey presto, you're back to a full crew.

I'm not too happy about these "medipacks on tracks", and sooner or later (read: For SB2 operations) I think we're going to change that kind of behavior. Still, better than nothing.

If you dont like them, then play dirty to discourage their use. Something along the lines of hiding with LOS on a wounded tank, and waiting for the little buggers to come trundling along...

But if your driver is disabled is the Tank also immobile or can you drive it yourself out of danger?

I don't remember having tested that personally, but I think it can be done. If not, push it to safety with another tank...
