Tons of details, great sounds, and a lot of it in 60fps. If you're into motorcycles, or even just engines in general, great clip...

I bet among SimHQ there has to be some people who've ridden some of these bikes, only one in the whole video I've ridden is the 500 Ninja!

None of them sound as good as this one! 😉

In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

Fascinating!
Weirdest sounding bike I have owned; Panther 'Model 100', 600cc single pot Sloper 1956, I think with 'Double Adult' Sidecar. With a 9inch stroke one din't need a rev counter, I could count the revs on fingers. Did about 100m.p.g. but in oil.
Best sounding bike I have owned: Ariel Square 4 1000cc, lovely rich smooth tone bike but hard to start from cold, almost impossible to restart when hot!

Most anti-social bike I've owned
Kawasaki H2C, 1975 750cc 2 stroke triple. Fitted with race expansion chambers and Ram Air pod filters.
Loud, thirsty and quick. I wouldn't say fast, not by today's standards but it took off like a scalded cat.

Exhaustive...*snicker*... I have a HD sportster and have ridden my brother's Ducati and my uncle's Honda Shadow. The Shadow is so quiet that I have a hard time telling when to shift over the wind noise...

The older I get, the more I realize I don't need to be Han, Luke or Leia. I'm just happy to be rebel scum...

Hah, I didn't even realize the pun I'd made there until your comment...

Ice Cold in Alex or Eating in ...
Started watching it but we had visitors arrive so shelved viewing the second half until tomorrow.

Ridden a few of those, near the start the single cylinder bike with sidecar I had a BSA 500cc single that sounded a lot like that, rode a few BMW boxer engined bikes: R75/6, my B-I-L's GS1200 and I used to have a Yam R1.

Most antisocial was my Honda CD175 biggrin It was the short reverse cone megaphone exhausts I had on it, it was quieter with just the open down pipes, and if you kept the RPM down it sounded like a 750 smile and it fairly howled when you got it up to 10k RPM, great little bike.

My favorite sounding bike engines are high performance V4s, ala Aprilia and Yamaha Vmax, straight piped Harley shovelheads and Ducati twins.

OTOH I hate the sound of sportbike inline 4s and typical dirtbikes.

I agree, but check out the V8 500 at the end of the the video, that thing sounds cool! Far better than my 500 Ninja with a 180 degree parallel twin!
