Unfortunately I only have an abysmallly slow DSL which requires days to download anything of game length,

so I am wondering if any of the HALO games are available on CD/DVD? Otherwise I just cannot get them - much too much time!

Anyway, can anyone in the know suggest which might be best for a complete newbie (to HALO) in case any are available on disk?

Thamnks!

Have you considered visiting an internet café in a nearby place to get broadband access?
You could then burn the data to disk there, or put them un a USB stick. And then, of course, there's eBay. And Amazon, at least to search for the specific version in which you're interested.

Thanks guys!

If I download on another computer, though, say a Steam game, would I be able to use/run it on my computer? Our local library has a blistering fast internet connection. My wife uses it to send enormous photo files

to a place in NY city for printing. It is free to use.

Also, I see that Amazon has older HALO games, presumably on disk. Again, what would you recommend for a HALO newbie?

Thanks!
