I remember one of the movies where Adolf Hitler was giving autographs to fans in the street. What utter BS. Turned me right off. That was Last Crusade and the only autograph I remember was the one Indy got while he was under cover. I could be wrong though since it's been several years since I've seen the movie.

They get caught up in that book burning event and Indiana gets pushed by a crowd accidentally towards Hitler while holding his father's historical research journal about the grail and Hitler signs it. I like that scene because it builds a kind of trepidation and it sees the movie's flawed yet more virtuous characters get thrust into the presence of a greater representation of evil, ideological and embodied. Mmmph... I just thought it was funny.

if spielberg dont feel like it, can it and reboot it, make it start like the adventures of young indiana jones with ford recount tales of his adventures......They can even shot a trilogy while he is still alive since he could film all his scenes at once. hell give it to george lucas if you are so intent on ruining, he always wanted to direct a movie but never had time, well he is retired so now he has plenty. Lucas is retired from the business and the "adventures of young Indiana Jones" you talk about was already done on TV back in the early 90's.

Just let the three movies live on. Never saw the 4th, it didn’t look good and I don’t want to ruin my opinion of the movies. I still think Raiders is one of the best, most entertaining, timeless movies of all time.

I still think Raiders is one of the best, most entertaining, timeless movies of all time. I saw Crystal Skull exactly ONE time in the theater and I never felt the urge to watch it a second time. For me that film is the personification of "MEH". That is a far cry from the numerous times I've seen the first three films and I have them on bluray as well.
