Contrary to the saying, it's not exceptional that lightning strikes the same location more than once. Some places are more likely than others. The behavior of the victim appears to be quite realistic --- aside from being on camera while struck by lightning thrice. If it is a hoax - certainly possible with today's video editing tools - it is very well made. Snopes.com (yeah, I know) rates it as false since lightining seems to occur only in a single video frame each, and because no news stories are recorded from 2011 that report about the incident. Livescience.com seems to be the site that SNopes referred to as far as the technical/science aspect is concerned. If that's not enough to convince you, I suppose the absence of other news stories is the tell-tale sign.

This old chestnut What Roudou said. A quick search.. So is this an extremely rare case of a man surviving two direct lightning strikes? Probably not, the experts say. . Instead, this may be a doctored video. "Each flash appears in only one frame of the video, with no saturation or blooming of the camera," said Rison, who specializes in designing lightning observation equipment "A lightning flash at nighttime, when the lens is wide open, would probably saturate the camera." If the video were real, then rather than appearing in one brightly lit frame, each bolt would cause the video to go white for a few frames.

Hardly worth commenting on.
A "lightning strike" would have lit up the whole surrounding area, even if just for a millisecond or two.
Anybody see the trees light up?

Look for me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Tic Toc...or anywhere you may frequent, besides SimHq, on the Global Scam Net. Aka, the internet. I am not there, never have been or ever will be, but the fruitless search may be more gratifying then the "content" you might otherwise be exposed to.

I saw this video on a show called "Real or Fake" (or something like that) either last year or the year before. It's fake.
SALUTE TO ALL!

No camera bloom. A strike at night with the lens fully open would cause massive saturation of the light.
Secondly and common sense, very few people survive a direct hit, let alone 3 direct hits. Most people struck are not direct hits.
