Sorry for beeing off-topic, but it is acually for exclusive use on WOFF :-)

Does anyone here knows if this joystick Thrustmaster T-16000M PC got a "twist" rudder function? Like small screwdrive left/right for the rudder?

Descriptions for it does not state this (only 4 axis independant controls -> i dont know what this is).

Can only order on web, so it is not pos to try it beforehand.

Thanks!

ps. It is also top of my budget allowance, but if you know any other better recommendations, id be happy if you share it!

It does have the twist function. I used it that way for years for WOFF and other sims. Good stick which I eventually wore into dust LOL.
I have another T-16000M now.
In fact I still use the twist for roll function in Star Citizen.
For aircraft Sims I now have the bundle with pedals and throttle.

I don't know, but the next thing you need in your budget is TrackIR! Once you have that, you won't look back! Err... well, actually you will look back! And up, and left and right and down... easily! You probably know pretty well, you hands have enough to do being airlerons, elevators and rudder!

If you bought the throttle with the stick there are all sorts of programmable buttons hats, buttons and things. There is a hat it the front (above the rudder control) that acts like an extra joy stick by default, that possibly may be programmable to act like a mouse. You will of course have the standard views on the hat(s) that are the same as those on the keypad.

Not necessary at all. You can simply configure the joystick hat to pan around just as you would your head for motion (or you can use the hat on the throttle as well or instead if you like) - and simply program in a button to snap back to center. Works really well. I actually prefer it to head tracking (which feels very unnatural to me and also quite restrictive in posture and whatnot tbh). My thumb becomes my head. And yes, you probably could configure the little mini-joystick on the throttle (I have the same Thrustmaster HOTAS set), but I haven't looked into that or use it for that myself.

I do suggest you get use to using the paddle on the throttle for your rudder instead of the twist on the stick, however. The twist on this particular stick is known to be the weak element with many users reporting problems over time with this aspect. Haven't had any problems myself yet with it (mine is still quite new) and others have had no issues after a year or more - so it may not end up being a problem -- but the throttle is most excellent and it is great you can easily use it for the rudder instead.

I fooled around with it a little this morning and couldn't figure out how to designate that mini joystick as a mouse. However, all you have to do to make the "hats" work for a pan view is to hit "Scroll lock" and they work just fine. Make sure you designate a button or something to return you to center screen or you might get lost or frustrated trying to get back there.
