The scenes with Leia in them were toe curlingly execrable .
It was a tough situation for JJ since those scenes were shot for "The Last Jedi" but they had to be shoe-horned into "Rise of Skywalker". There were actually some fans who thought that Carrie Fisher in those scenes was entirely CGI just like what Disney did with Peter Cushing in "Rogue One". LOL

The sequels were so atrocious, even the prequels are beginning to look like cinematic masterpieces. When did you last watch Phantom Menace? I watched it a couple years ago and I actually laughed several times from just how childish so many of the scenes were. This movie would really fit in perfectly being shown on Disney Junior.

And the other prequels improved from there. Attack of the Clones had some terrible dialogue and scenes (mostly the Padme and Anakin romance ones) but Revenge of the Sith was a big improvement for sure!

Yes, they make gutter poop. I wonder if they ever been sued.
We talk about how Hollywood no longer has an original idea and reboots, remakes the same stuff.
Asylum is worse that that. You have to have the correct expectations. Asylum is intentionally making absurd and bad movies. It's the same thing SyFy Channel has done with its "Sharknado" series and other in-house B movies.

Wiki says as of 2009/2010 they never lost any money on any of their movies. Some people will pay to watch anything. It's the "can't turn head away from the traffic accident' syndrome at work. Sometimes a movie is just so absurdly bad it's entertaining!

I just saw they made the Sharknado films. I seen one of them only because I came home one day and everyone was in front of the TV and I asked 'what are you watching?' and sat down. Based on what I've read online, each of those "Sharknado" movies only cost about 1 million to make and since those movies always generated great ratings for SyFy, you can clearly understand why so many were made.
