DCS: Supercarrier includes:
Highly detailed and animated Nimitz-class aircraft carrier that includes the USS Theodore Roosevelt, USS Abraham Lincoln, and the USS George Washington. While in early access, additional ships of the sub-class will be added. Fully modelled sensors and weapon systems. Interactive carrier radio communications that includes CASE I, CASE II, and CASE III flight operations that range from daylight/good weather landings to night-time/foul weather operations. Animated deck crew to launch aircraft from all four catapults. Occupy the Landing Signal Officer (LSO) station with integrated landing camera. This also has the option to play in VR. Numerous deck starting locations for aircraft in multiplayer. New static objects for the Supercarrier that includes static deck crew and support equipment.
I have to say, ED have lifted their game after the post on Reddit.
Maybe not everyone's cup of tea but there are several improvements to the series that show ED are moving in the right direction. I can not speak for everyone, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel,,,,the length of the tunnel may vary from person to person.

What do you mean don't expect too much? HB flat out stated they're working on making it happen.

I don't know how you can live with all this negativity in you. Are you going collapse into a point of dark energy or something? I think the only thing keeping you afloat is your propensity to insult other people.

I don't know how you can live with all this negativity in you........... It just so happens that Eagle Dynamics are the gift incompetence that just keeps on giving not delivering How many promises and early-access platforms have we seen from these jokers.......look at some of the content from the last few years....the F/A 18 still hasn't got A/G radar FFS. It doesn't matter what they promise about the 'Supercarrier', we all know it will be a 'Sh1tcarrier' for years to come. It's really difficult to not be negative when you know that the next round of ineptitude is just around the corner. I've given up playing this crock of sh1t but I keep my eye on the forum and the posts, just waiting for that magical moment where ED finally start delivering on the potential, start releasing some real polish, finally get to finish off their content and modules and await the community to claim we've finally got a Combat Simulator and not a barren screenshot generator. It's been about 2 years since I parked this title and guess what. THINGS ARE STILL NOT IMPROVING and ED continue down the same track, making the same mistakes and seemingly without a care in the world. They can shove their 'Supercarrier' up their crimper.
On the Eighth day God created Paratroopers and the Devil stood to attention.

Whether you like it or not...ED has given many simmers plenty of reason to be skeptical over the years, and that's all he was stating.

And in two years you can buy Supercarrier II because they've added more "features". Kinda like A10-C II and Black Shark III. I don't think they handled Black Shark 2 well. But Black Shark 3/A-10C 2 seems okay if priced right. A-10C came out in 2011, I don't expect them to continue adding new features to it a decade later for free. That is practically unheard of in the game industry.

A-10C II might be shaping up to be a different suite, or, a more complete suite. There are a bunch of features that could be added that would be quite nice to have.
Black Shark 3 may or may not be a different bird - it appears to be one of the more modern variants that would resemble a gunship of today.

That is practically unheard of in the game industry. Another thing that was unheard of in the industry...a pre-order bonus (Nevada) being 4 years late after the product released...lol

Another thing that was unheard of in the industry...a pre-order bonus (Nevada) being 4 years late after the product released...lol What's also unheard of is games getting put on sale at 40% finished, getting abandoned at 60% finished, and the cycle continuing on a year-on-year basis.

Another thing that was unheard of in the industry...a pre-order bonus (Nevada) being 4 years late after the product released...lol And that is relevant in what way? Don't get me wrong, I'd be very happy to get updates for games forever but at some point it is unreasonable. Personally I was not a huge fan of BF1 or BF5, and I'd rather have new maps, weapons and have BF4 moved over to the new engine for free. But over 6 years post release, I don't think that would be reasonable. That is practically unheard of in the game industry. Another thing that was unheard of in the industry...a pre-order bonus (Nevada) being 4 years late after the product released...lol What's also unheard of is games getting put on sale at 40% finished, getting abandoned at 60% finished, and the cycle continuing on a year-on-year basis. Have you not been buying games over the past 4-5 years? Sadly that is very common. See ArmA 3, Day Z or the dozens of other games released as Early Access and remain in a perpetual beta state for years while going on sale before jumping onto the next project.
