I'm a big ordnance enthusiast. Does anyone who has experience know how much area a complete detonation from a 2000lb Mk84 can cover?

must be classified since fas doesn't say and when FAS doesn't say its usually classified
however I'd expect it to be a big bang

From my totally unclassified squadron gouge...

Mk-84 at SL: 2750' vertical 3100' horizontal, TOF (time of fall) 30.0 seconds

Mk-84 at 5000' MSL: 3100' vertical, 3350' horizontal, TOF 31.2 seconds

I'm interested in the area covered by the explosive force of a standard 2000lb bomb. I've seen it on documentaries of test drops and I always wanted to know how much it covers.

from fas it says 945lb of H-6 explosive you'll have to search the web for how many m/s shockwave it has and its rate of dissipation and calculate from that
