Anyone else in Southern Ontario have the cellphone go of this morning ? Saying there was an incident at the Pickering Nuclear Plant ? No need to evacuate at this time.
And then an hour and a half later, an alert goes off saying it was a mistake.
I mean, Holy crap. I just watched Chernobyl on HBO.
Somebody is going to be fired.

I can see my house from here! No I can't and I slept through the amber alert. Turned the bloody thing off long time ago.

Canada has nuclear power plants? I thought all Canadians used only solar panels for their homes and rode exclusively on bicycles? wink

Vienna, 2nd rock left.
You got that wrong. They are riding on Moose and using bicycles to power their homes...

There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB.
The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed.
There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

Somehow it overrode my phone settings, blasted at full volume. Scared the hell out of me, woke me from a dead sleep.

Bruce Nuclear Power Plant, in Ontario, is 2nd largest in the world.
Pickering is one of the oldest.
