A Dave’s single and a spicy chicken sandwich from Wendy’s.

I’m fancy like that.

Thank you.

Last year when his teenage son totaled 1 of their 2 cars and they couldn't afford to buy a replacement one,

I helped him and his family to get around every day.

Since there are 4 of them, he and his wife and his son and a daughter, using 1 car and they all need to be somewhere every day.

His son and daughter also had extra academic activities after school: school sports, computer clubs, etc etc

Thanks for putting that old children's nursery rhyme in my head now. It's driving me nuts. biggrin

There's a "Texas de Brazil" in Miami. I've only eaten there twice but the food is pretty good. Just make sure you go there with a big appetite because it's really not worth the cost if you just eat one plate of food and that's it.

Sorry, my mistake. The nursery rhyme is about peas porridge NOT teas & porridge. I need more coffee today it seems.

It was $24.99 plus tax which is not a bad price.

At dinner the price is $45 but it also adds pork ribs, beef ribs, filet mignon, lamb chops, thick center cut pork chops, lobster bisque, sushi.

I can do without those items.

There were more than enough selection of salad items and meat choices.

Meat choices that came around that I turned away: sausage links, parmesan crusted drumsticks (the second smaller drumstick that's usually used for buffalo wings), bacon wrapped chicken breast.

I can get chicken and sausages at home anytime.

I love cornbread but I don't cook and it's hard to find really authentic Southern cornbread down here in Miami.

Thanks for the encouragement but you're talking to someone who would burn the water if that was physically possible. biggrin
