I'm trying to get Jane's F18 running on a Windows 7 with the DXTweaker. Followed the directions and got into the 3d world with good framerate. As the mission progresses however framerate slowly sinks into about 15fps. It happens regardless of AA or AG mode. Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Is there a fix?

I have never experienced this myself. However, DXTweaker did bring along other problems, e.g. random crashes, carrier "crabbing", which in the end made it unusable. I strongly suspect that running at very high frame rates causes issues with JF-18. I strongly recommend that you look at:

From my experiences so far as, it gives you 100% reliable Jane's F/A-18 as it was back in the day. It also seems to work with TSH versions. There are issues when in the game interface, but these don't detract from flying missions.
