I'm more impressed with the fact that there is an Octopus in Canada? Is that normal?

Look to the right Chucky on the link it happened at a Canadian fish farm..I'm pretty sure they aren't native to there Matter of fact I remember watching a show on Animal Planet I think about octopus farms

Ah,got it. I wasn't sure. I also wasn't sure what would be swimming in a Canadian fish farm. An Octopus would have been my last guess

For sure M8 I don't associate octopus with Canada..From what I remember from the fish farm show they were testing every kind of sea life

There are octopus up here...just hard to find . The variety of sea life actually increases in cold water because of the higher oxygen density

Octopusses are everywhere, from warm to cold waters. I take it the eagle was trying to fish and was in for a nasty surprise. It can be happy to have escaped thanks to human help. Even a "small" octopus has much more power in its muscles than a human, and it sure knows how to use them. I bet the eagle has some broken ribs at least.
Squids and octopuses are strange creatures but i like them, also studied them a bit. Thanks for the link.
