Darn Red seeing your posts makes me miss the old good board games..But got TOTH and just grabbed the Kursk and Normandy DLC's..A bit excessive on mouse clicks but enjoyable..Also got the full Unity of Command set and UOC II also CC combat the bloody first Buggy but Matrix is good with patches..Got enough to keep me busy all winter and probably spring and summer too

To be honest, I just love the boardgame over PC, it just feels more organic. Iam old school with wargames.

Although I do enjoy playing some PC games like, TotH, Piercing Fortress, and Flashpoint Campaigns Red Storm. I recently bought Carriers at War (SSG) over at Matrix. Added the user mod to it too. Another game you might enjoy is "Combat Command, The Matrix Edition". It´s basically Combat Command 2 with all the expansions...

sure is a keeper Red and as an old school board game fan I always prefer the NATO counters Just a shame my old war gaming M8's have moved on..But I can still game on the computer..Military history has always been a source of interest to me..Wanted to teach it years ago but when I came home kind of got lost for a bunch of years Today heading to Gettysburg When my first wife asked where will we go for a honey moon and she got Gettysburg,,Antietam and Bull Run,,,and she ran after that ,,And have had Carriers at War for a lot of years one of those titles that never get old,,and also Command Ops 2 with all the modules Good gaming there..grabbed it when highway to The Reich wouldn't install

Red here's a good looking game I have Commander the Great war but thinking of dusting off the debit card..But best to wait a bit after Close Combat the Bloody first..It was released too soon,,At least I have CC Cross of Iron,,, Matter of fact I've got all the CC games but right now caught up on Tigers on the hunt..Matrix has a ton of user made scenarios..

One of the neat things about Combat Command is that you can have the same counter either in offensive or defensive stance, with each having there own attributes. Like in some miniature games were the counter is mainly a representation of unit scale/type, then you apply what you want to posture. I like the retro look to it too.
