WIKI: they have try to get this movie made since 2009. At one time Amy Schumer and then Anne Hathaway were to play Barbie.
Maybe they should had let it sit for another 13 years. Who is going to watch this. What audience is this aimed for? Not the little girls that watch the Barbie cartoons. This movie looks inappropriate for them.

That entire Barbie movie is someone’s bizarre vanity project. This is right up there with the Gal Gadot Cleopartra movie that has FLOP written all over it.
edit: I just finished looking at a few screenshots from "Barbie" on IMDB and it seems quite apparent to me that this is a comedy aimed at high school/college age kids.

Devotion, supposedly based off of Jesse Brown and Tom Hudner. I won't hold my breath for historical accuracy, but I do like seeing the F4F in action. And it's not often we get a film about anything related to the Korean War.

I'll check out the trailer soon. Hopefully the woke factor will be kept at a minimum.
edit: Just watched the trailer and the combat scenes do look great. Now if we only knew how good/bad the dialogue is!

F4U - Corsair
F4F - Wildcat

D'oh, I did see that, but thought I edited it...or maybe I only thought about editing it. Maybe I'm due for the old folks home. You are correct though, it is the F4U.
I love Resident Evil but Netflix ruin another good thing by forcing their social agenda that have nothing to do with the Resident Evil source material onto their viewers.
The online reviews I have found, most of them say the same thing. Pure utter waste of time and trash.

Nothing is being forced here on viewers. Just simply don't watch.

It's still fascinating to me how the John Wick franchise totally revived Keanu's acting career. After the remake of "The Day the Earth Stood Still" flopped he was really at his career low point and he stopped getting cast for big budget movies for a couple of years.

Batgirl cancelled by WB. It will not get a theatrical release, video release, streaming release. Studio has a new boss and he wants to save money so he is going to write off $70-100 million, the money spent on Batgirl which is a completed film.
I did not know there are many finished movies that don't get a release. What a waste of money and all the work everyone did to get these films made for nothing.

One film that should have remained unreleased is "The Adventures of Pluto Nash". The studio already knew from the beginning that they had a massive turkey on their hands so they delayed the release for 2 years!
Once released, the movie was a massive financial disaster.

It'll be interesting to see for how long this John Wick franchise can maintain its popularity. All good things eventually come to an end.

One more film after John Wick 4.
WIKI:
Quote
Future In August 2020, Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer confirmed that a fifth film was being developed alongside John Wick: Chapter 4. While it was initially intended to be shot back-to-back with the fourth installment, in March 2021 Lionsgate opted to delay production and move forward with Chapter 4 first. Keanu Reeves has stated that he will continue making sequels, as long as the films are successful.

My sisters' kids return to school this week. Their first time inside a classroom since March 2020 when their Spring classroom instructions was interrupted and switch to online learning only.
