I do not eat seafood very much but I would try this fish pie not the green stuff. Greens are good for you & properly cooked samphire has nice texture & flavour. Personally, I reckon that lobster & salmon are overrated & the best bit of that pie would be the smoked haddock.

We used to catch perch and fry the tails. Just like potato chips.
There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB. The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed. There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

Nothing like a kipper sandwich for lunch.

A lot. & there are massive regional styles/variations in Indian curry alone (not qualified to comment on Thai/Japanese) - lots of flavours & heatwise they run all the way from mild to oh, my god I am eating fire :P. https://curryculture.co.uk/types-of-curry/Then there is Chinese (again many regional variants), Malaysian, Singapore, Sri Lankan ... The British introduced the Japanese to curry in the 19th century.

Never found a curry that could match what they served at Coco Ichibanya when I was in Okinawa. Ah, USMC or USN?
