Appetizer: Thai lotus tuile, filled with coconut jelly, fried king prawns, and a pomelo fruit salad flavoured with honey, palm sugar and shredded coconut.
Main: A traditional northern Thai kantok, Wagyu sirloin steak in a hung lay curry sauce, minced lamb in a spicy tomato, chili and shrimp paste, jackfruit and scallop salad, sticky rice and scallop crisp crackers.
Dessert: Strawberry jelly and vanilla cremeux ring, filled with macerated strawberries in strawberry liqueur, pistachio sponge, strawberry shards, and a strawberry and Thai basil sauce.
The 2 Runner Ups:Anurag:Appetizer: Golgappa, crisp hollow pastry shells served with three fillings - spicy potato and black chickpea, sweet and tangy potato with pomegranate, and diced strawberries soaked in orange juice. Served with mint and black sea water, tamarind and jaggery sauce, and orange and Cava.
Main: Slow-cooked lamb rogan josh, with black lentil daal, roasted cauliflower in a spicy tomato and chilli sauce, sweet saffron rice wtih dry fruits and nuts, cucumber and mint raita, mango pickle, baby onions, garlic naan, and served with a spicy lime and sugar syrup.
Dessert: Haiwa, a yellow lentil sponge pudding, flavoured with saffrond, sultanas and pistachio, served with a cardamon and almond ice cream.
Omar:Appetizer: Drunken scallops, pan-fried scallops covered in a steamed potato and carrot blanket, carrot and mango salad, shoestring fries, fish roe, pickled edamame beans, and a spicy rice wine fish broth.
Main: Beef cheek in a black bean and cherry sauce, topped with crushed roasted hazelnuts and a tempura oyster, served with Jerusalem artichoke puree, cherries, pickled cucumbers, beef-roasted cabbage, and a black bean cherry sauce.
Dessert: A parsnip split, cumin-roasted parsnips, parsnip and cumin semifreddo, topped with a feuilletine chocolate crisp, cumin butterscotch, and milk chocolate cremeux.
