I had no idea, but whining actually works fine.
My 5 yrs old desktop has been acting up recently and the Queen heard me cursing at my desk while dealing once again with a ctd last Thursday.
Honestly I very briefly whined about the situation, 30 secs max. Entirely innocent, I had not even contemplated initial psychological groundwork.

And today, the Queen forwarded me an email from Dell, indicating my Alienware Aurora R9 will be delivered sometimes between Nov. 29 and Dec. 3 eek

I did agree to spend X'Mas somewhere up North in Japan this year, instead of flying back to France as usually done.
Could that be it? I will investigate further.

Cheers,
Slug

I never thought of doing that, innocently or otherwise.

I had to sneak my upgrades past the other half. That was the great thing about that big old beige case. I owned it for years and it went through many covert upgrades. I'm pretty sure she never sussed it out.

Mrs Sluggish sounds like a good woman smile

You be naïve, sir.

There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB.
The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed.
There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

Yep, Chucky, she knows. She's just letting you think you're clever, the mark of a good woman.

Slug, it's a fine wife that realizes that you're not plunking down the cash for a new rig out of care for finances and rewards your selflessness.

Definitely a keeper.

Sounds like a trap to me Slug.
Could be a very long honeydo list or a new kitchen incoming smile

When I used to deal with women I'd just make sure any time I upgraded she was getting upgraded too. Absolute least of our problems.

I'd divorce any woman who told me what to do with my money and time on Earth.
