I have the following Exception message after GOTO Field, first black screen with messages then when it goes to the brown load screen I get :-
Exception -PatchMemory::CreateProcess failed error 0x000002E4=740

I am running windows 10 on my Dell Lx702 laptop with GT555M graphic card. I have all the latest drivers and updates installed. I have been on the Obd help page and contact them, but no fix has worked.

The game was running properly until Microsoft on line help reset my windows system after an app would not run.
After that event my frame rate dropped from 20 to 10 average, so I started to tamper with CFC3 config, Graphic settings, Diag 9 reinstall, I have since tried to reverse all changes, to no avail I am still getting the above error message.

Has anyone had this message or suggests where the cause is......

Any help would be much appreciated as I love this game and am dead in the water!

After I asked you to try some things you didn't come back but it could be a permissions issue. Set your WOFF.exe and CFS3.exe to "run as an Administrator" in properties of the icons, compatibility tab.

I thought I had all my .exe set to Administrator, to my great surprise WOFF.exe was not. As i do I altered a few things at the same time and altered compatibility to windows 7 in CFS3 both game and config and now the game is working again and my frame rate is back in the 20's but with a big stutter now and again......so a very big THANKS from me.
