"El Camino"

Good wrap up to the "Breaking Bad" saga.

Just recently started watching the Netflix sci-fi series "Altered Carbon". I like what I've seen so far.

“Land of mine”
A group of young German POWs are tasked to defuse and clear up land mines in Denmark soon after the end of WW II .

Exceptional movie, highly recommended.

I am watching Angel Has Fallen: the sequel to London Has Fallen which was the sequel to Olympus Has Fallen.

This guy is in the movie.

https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0714698/

You know him.

He played the Continental Hotel manager in all 3 John Wick films.

He was also in White House Down which came out at the same time as Olympus Has Fallen, both movie had exact plot:

an attack on the White House.

I like him, he plays cool roles but he seems to be in every action movie now: A and B types.

Those "Has Fallen" action movies with Gerard Butler I simply find to be retarded.

I am watching Joker.

This is just weird and it's only been on for 15 minutes.

Also why does it feel like I am watching Taxi Driver?

Just finish Joker.

Joaquin Phoenix did a good job, I have to give him the credit but I didn't like the film

Yes, I know it made 993 million already but that does not automatically makes a movie great.

I assume is this snowflake generation with their sheep mentality that spent most of that 993 millions:

they are so easily pleased.

They click like and thumbs up on everything and will follow the lives of total strangers on the internet to the end of time.

I also assume there is a sequel already in the work? Got to strike it when it's still hot!

Watching War of the Worlds a Fox Canal+ collaboration, Was actually looking for the BBC Drama which is set in Edwardian Britain and started taping the other one by mistake and boy am I hooked on it, good acting and good tension.

It is not HG Wells' book but more brought up to date and set in France and England, some of the alien tech in it is in use today by the military and just helps ad that edge to it.

Now I wish I could find the BBC series to watch too but cannot find it here in Belgium.

Are there any indigenous Belgian science fiction shows currently airing?

Currently? Hmmm, only kids shows, there is one series that is a cross between Knight Rider's Kitt and Power Rangers, apart from that cannot think of any SciFi

For a typical Belgian film try Rundskop (international title: Bullhead) but it ain't sci fi. There are a few recent animated SciFi films from Belgium but not seen any of them.

Actually, I watched a coupled of Hallmark Films. The names elude me because they were alike in most respects, The Plot lines were identical. , All questions were answered. Un necessary dilog most situations were contrived, predicable, and awkward The Women looked much older for the parts they played. and the men much younger. Amid all the fluff, the casting for the other players looked appropriate and in some cases well acted. The sets looked like Sets and the background music too long and loud . I think in the future, I fine other things to do.

This is because about 95% of the audience for Hallmark is female.

I recently finished watching a full playthrough of Detroit Become Human, yes its a game but the story and cinematics are at least as good as anything Hollywood has done lately IMO.

Just saw Ford vs. Ferrari. Great film. Some aspects were spot on, some were, well, not quite accurate but it was a very enjoyable film

The best part of Ford vs Ferrari was hearing my Pilipino priends try to pronounce the title.

I seen that Land of Mine. It was good!

Here's another good World War 2 film from a Scandinavian country.

A true story too.

I would had been dead or given myself up.
