Hi,

nice work. A Friend and me also plan to build a pit. So we need some plans...

- how can we get them
- how much is it
- is it a pdf or grafic-file or a CAD File (Software/Format)

Questions, questions, questions...

Thx Kawapower74

How much to buy the plans? I have been looking for a good one to make my home cockpit. Yours looks very clean and easy to follow.

Hi Guys

Thank you for the nice message.

My CAD Plans come on an AutoCAD version 2013.DWG file. You can change or manipulate them as you need for your project. You also can print them as individual parts, or as multiple parts laid out on a Sheet of material, and then sent to a CNC Shop to be cut out on a CNC Router, if you choose to. It’s up to you how you use them. You just cannot sell, post, give them away, etc. All is explained below.

At the link below, you can see pictures of my CAD plans and a good example of what they include - and some build images:

I own a few sets of VR goggles and I have built, flown and sold a full size 737 cockpit and about 25% of the way through building the F16 and another 737 MAX build.

VR is cute, no where near touching hardware yet. It has a very long road to go

Agreed! Jskibo

Hardware is much better than Virtual hardware.

It's the reason that the military doesn't use it.

I can confirm the defence company I work for provide VR hardware/software to the military for RAF and Navy training, it plays a massive part in modules for F35 pilots and T26 engineers/maintainers

VR is used by USAF as well however but is obviously only useful for training certain things.

It is next to useless where a pilot needs to develop muscle memory and operate the controls by instinct as required in any tense situation - that is where you need an actual pit.
