Yes, I probably spent way too much time editing this together, but I had fun doing it and I'm pleased with the results.
IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Bodenplatte is a superb piece of software, especially for someone who was a devotee of WW2 fighter planes as a kid like I was.
Watch this on a large screen with a good set of earphones.

Superb that was!
Particularly enhanced by the excellent choice of music for the soundtrack.

Even as an Englander, I was happy to see the Dora pilot pancake and survive the Tempest bully boys! smile

I'd agree with the choice of music. Great video too of course.

Flat spins in the Dora, the P-38, and the Mustang! That took some work! Nice!

Very well made indeed.

(Even though Operation Bodenplatte took place right in the middle of the particularly cold winter '44/'45...)

Yes! I did not have the winter map (it was released the very day I finished this video cuss2 ) but the software itself is named after Bodenplatte and covers 1944 to 1945.
Of course, I even got the name of the software wrong in my video! It should be "IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Bodenplatte" not "Operation Bodenplatte"! But the official title doesn't even make sense IMO as it was "Operation Bodenplatte" that took place on January 1, 1945, not really a battle of Bodenplatte.
So my title is an inaccurate version of an inaccurate title! biggrin
