New player here, bought the game yesterday. Love the map and the cities, very well done and I can finally fly in the 303 division😁 My consern is what is the convergence setting? Can I change it? Flying hurricane. Also maybe I'm a noob but coming from Il2 GB i feel the .303 is a bit underpowered. I got some nice hits in engine and canopy section and the 109 just kept on flying, no oil or coolant leaks, like nothing hit it. I also need to put many, many holes in it to shoot it down. Was that caliber really that weak? Would love some .50 cals😉 also i seem no to be able to open my radiators i use the cowl flap key bind and nothing happens. Seem I can go on full throttle and rpm all the time without overheating or damaging the engine. Seem like I cpuld go WEP all the time but I use it sparringly.

In my experience with the game, overusing WEP will lead to engine damage, especially in the 109. You can also adjust your weapon strength in the settings to match what you feel is most appropriate!

IMHO, Hurricane convergence is set to 250 meters and Me-109 to 300 meters (values accessible in aircraft xdp files).

And your feeling that the .303 is a “bit underpowered” in WW2 environment is a good one.
