Getting a timeout error when trying to join online,was ok two nights ago but could not join anything last night,would get in to game ,see the briefing screen and then timeout.

Port 21000 is allowed in my router and also allowed through my firewall in windows.

If you're able to get all the way through mission loading to the briefing, then it doesn't appear to have anything to do with Hyper Lobby. You connected to HL, joined a server and downloaded the mission, it's after that point that problems arise.

What the fix might be, I'm afraid I can't help...

weird as.I rechecked all of my router settings and the port is enabled in UDP and TCP,i can connect to all of my other online games,but timeout at HL or Allseeing Eye with 1946.

hey retard all good now ,had to do a new router setting that had been added specifically for the Belkin and Telstra Australia users ...tools.

Basically, I cannot connect to anyone or have them connect to me without the Timeout = 0 error.

- Ports are forwarded
-All other network adapters are disabled
-Versions match (same STEAM install with update to 4.14.1)
-Firewall exceptions made
-NOT using Hyperlobby, just direct connects in IL-2 (which WORKS for everyone else)

What makes it even more perplexing is that I get the SAME error when trying to connect to a server on another PC on my LAN!! Suspecting SOME odd router config, so, even though I am not in Australia and have a TP-LINK router not a BELKIN or TELESTRA, I am wondering what the magic router setting might have been...


By the way: ABSOLUTELY NO ISSUES WITH MP CONNECTIONS TO ANY OTHER GAME EVER....FROM THE VERY OLD TO THE VERY NEW..
