Having coaxed this to finally run in Windows 10 I've been trying to get it to run with TrackIR. I know it's possible; there are multiple people showing it working on YouTube. But I haven't been able to figure out the necessary settings.

As some threads elsewhere have suggested, I'm using mouse emulation in TrackIR but it's still not working within F-15 itself- anyone know how to do it? I'm in the F4 mouse look view, but no joy.

Hi Gorn, you got me intrigued so I started TrackIR software version 5 - my hardware is a TrackIR 4. And I use DXWnd 2.05.08. It works.

Then started the mouse emulation utility in TrackIR.
Started JF15.
Started Training, take off and landing.
Press F4 on keyboard.
TrackIR worked immediately.

Haven’t figured out how to reset the view, as default F12 didnt work and F11 precision froze the view towards the left and down. But otherwise worked as normal, looking around in all directions. I didn’t think to lean forward, but doubt that 6DOF is functional. Still, pretty cool.

Try it, but remember mouse view is working in the F4 view, not F1.

While using mouse emulation you will not be able to reset view with F12 as all the mode does is using Track IR to move the mouse cursor.

You will need to pause Track IR while working the avionics with your mouse though. Unless you want to use TIR for it
