. Greetings All, A couple of days ago Carrick and I had a brief back-and-forth about the movie that French ace Charles Nungesser starred in back in 1925, "The Sky Raider", a movie that unfortunately has been lost due to the deterioration of the old celluloid film on which it was released. However, several of the movie posters are still kicking around and I grabbed an image of one that sold recently through Heritage Auctions. I have taken that large image and spent a couple hours this morning going over it and cleaning it up, removing the damage and water stains and such, getting it nice and fresh again. I am offering it here to anyone who might wish to have it printed up, either as the full size original or in a smaller "lobby card" size, and display it in their own flying room. As I say, it is large, 2040 x 1600 pixels, so it should print very well. Just right-click on the image, open it in a new window, and save it to your computer and you should be good to go. Enjoy! Lou .

Very interesting! And Nungesser definitely had the looks of a movie star. Maybe a bit rougher than Valentino though. Unfortunately there are plenty of films from the early days of cinema that have been lost to history. Sometimes unknown copies may turn up in surprising places, but it is quite rare. One lost film I'd have loved to see is about the funeral of Oswald Boelcke. He was such a big national hero in Germany that they filmed the occasion. Alas, no copies have survived.

RAF, how are you doing, am trying to fly again but ran into an issue. I the past I used G4 to make the Track become a great help in flying.
No such luck now , the Track 5 will not work as it once did and I need some help to make it work again. My old notes say to punch the G4 button to lock the track during the game play.
Thanks for your help. CW3SF

I'm doing well, how about you CW? Good to see you still drop in from time to time. To your Track IR, not sure about the G4 thing. The one item I do remember that was critical to getting it to work properly was to install the software BEFORE you plug in the camera. If you don't do it that way you will have all kinds of headaches with it. You might want to start by looking through the TrackIR users manual which is available as a free online download, (if you don't already have it), after which you should uninstall the TrackIR software and then reinstall it per the steps in the manual.
Hope it helps.
