It's Thanksgiving Day in Canada ( and probably elsewhere in the Commonwealth )

It will be your Thanksgiving Day in the US soon. Not sure if such a day exists elsewhere but.....................................

All of us here are truly blessed to live in places that allow us to have good shelter, ample food and drink and not be in constant danger. Count your blessings and be grateful smile

Happy Thanksgiving from Canada !! smile

Amen Archie !

Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Someday your life will flash in front of your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching.

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well Archie! I wonder which food or drink items are different in a Canadian Thanksgiving dinner compared to an American one? Or maybe they are essentially the same?

Essentially the same AFAIK. Regional differences as I'm sure there are in the US. Around here. Turkey and/or ham and /or roast beef . We often cooke a lump of salt/corned beef as well. Root vegetables ,potato, carrot, turnip cabbage / brussels sprouts. Gravy , stuffing ( we call it dressing ) . Apple or pumpkin pie for dessert .................nap smile
