Now to my question:
Does anyone know, what these numbers in the ef2000.cfg mean?
I kinda need to know these numbers, because although I've managed to get throttle and rudder working, NOTHING (not even the joystick) is centered!
So maybe I could enter the correct numbers myself... (I have these from the DOS Joystick tester "joycheck.exe" (from "Henrik K. Jensen")

JOYSCALE=512

• this is always 512 with my joystick
  

JOY_FACTOR=93

• I've had 93 two times but I#ve also seen 1024: so, what could that be?

• this is "the big one": I need to enter "my" numbers here; but I just don't know what these stand for (x+, x-, ...?) or (x-min, center, x-max, ...?)

Ok, I think I got it!

After calibrating my 4 axis in the joystick testing tool, I can read the output values:




And this is what I get from testing the values:




I still don't know what "JOY_FACTOR" does or what to set it too, but I left it at 96.

Now every axis is centered, hooray!!

is: sensitivity!

With 512, you can't really turn that well. You may get up to a few G's max. When playing with Keyboard you get a really tight radius, resulting in 7-9 G's easily!

So I now have it at 2048, which is WAY better! Not as good as with Keyb., but good enough. (and more then 2048 didn't improve anything...)
