Is it best to use the settings in the workshop or in the Nvidia panel?

I set Workshop AA to 2. Then I set up what I want in NVCP and Nvidia Inspector. I am under the impression from reading in the FAQ that AA 2 is like turning AA off in WOFF. There is some very good information in the FAQ which is in the Documents folder in your WOFF UE/PE folder. Highly suggest you read through that for WOFF in Workshop Scenery/Graphic objects settings. It is well explained and has some good guidelines to getting started and refining good FPS settings. Of course it takes some playing around with to tweak out the best performance. Good luck. If you want anymore help PM me and I will share my settings. I get between 32(lowest) and 59(limited to 60 in VVCP) on an older system.

Just to clarify 2X AA is not off - it's still 2x AA. However, make sure your NVidia GPU settings (cfs3.exe profile if you use one) is set to "override application setting" or "use application setting". If you use "enhance..." then you will double your AA setting, both will apply!

Fiddling around and procrastinating too much sends you mad. Look what happened to poor old CaptSopwith. No offence Capt. Set GPU to default and check aniso, aa and vsync are "application controlled". Then in game, (I) set texture filters high, aa to 8 and force vsync. Works on my rig and others may differ but the point being leave the GPU alone at default and if you must fiddle, fiddle with the in-game settings only.

I would agree. Start with your settings in the WOFF Workshop as noted above and tic the related items in your Nvidia CP to "application controlled".
