Look at all the WWI goodness showing up. First WOFF PE and now there's a movie called 1917. The trailer looks quite interesting.

Thanks Hellshade, it looks beautifully shot and sounds amazing to be presented in a continuous shot (even if it's not really filmed that way). I'm looking forward to that very much.

Nice to see WW1 getting some attention. The movie looks visually nice but the premise seems really silly.

If there's an entire battalion of infantry already marching into an ambush behind enemy lines then sending just two green men on foot to catch them sounds like the worst way to handle it. Cavalry and aircraft would seem much more fitting for the task even if it's almost Bloody April.

This looks to have excellent cinematography - going to be a must see in my book.
Though the story line I got from the trailer, seems a bit in the vein of Saving Private Ryan.
