My vids aren't showing up still but all I have to do is hit "edit post" preview changes, and then click save and it starts showing up. Working on my 16 page motocross thread...updating each one...lol.

But at least they will show now...some legacy posts might not until this edit is applied.

The fix by RacerGT does address the videos not showing if you are posting a new video or if you edit an existing post

but as Force10 mentions all the legacy posts are still not showing any of the videos that were embedded in them.
Is there a fix/resolution in the future for that situation?

It is speculation on my part, but I doubt there will be a 'fix' for legacy posts. The authors can do like Force10 describes and edit their posts. If you want to view something from someone else, you can quote the post, which will probably accomplish essentially the same effect as the author editing it. (I have not tried that yet, but I suspect it will work.)
