I was having problems embedding a Youtube video and a scroll back through time shows all of them gone and not showing in my old posts. The embed code still shows when you hit edit...any ideas?

This seems to be a recent thing. I'm on Opera and have to allow 'insecure' traffic to see video etc.

Think a forum software upgrade might be what caused this. Worked fine until recently. Also found that you don`t even need the media tag with
you tube anymore. Just paste your url into the line and post. link will be created for you.

Any news from RacerGT regarding a fix for this problem?

I think Elvis left the building a long time ago.

Another staff member has been in communication with RacerGT about the embedded videos. Hopefully it will get resolved soon.

This is not directed at you personally PM but when I look back I can't honestly say we have been all that welcoming to him so why would he want to be around every day?
It also seems to me that we SimHQ members have been quick to b!tch and moan about something not being the way we want it, and I am definitely including myself in that statement, but we have been pretty short in the compliments department when he fixes something or for quite frankly even keeping the site online.


Thanks, I see he logged on just a couple of days ago and I hope Racer is able to find a fix in the near future.
