This does not replace current installations but it is a set-up for 160 users who want to fly 160 online. With th recent varied work that I have been doing has messed up my own multiplayer folder, so it is no longer the same as the one of other players.
So it makes sense to create a new one, and here is the link:

UAW160Multiplayer

You download the "UAW160Multiplayer.exe" and run it to create a stand-alone "UAW160Multiplayer" folder.

The file-manager shows you what is installed:

There are eleven theatres and thirty-six planesets so this is a great set-up for offline play too smile

I really want to take a break from programming and modding so that I can start flying at GameRanger again wink
Naturally, I will be using this set-up as my GameRanger folder.

Hope to see you online- I will open a room shortly to do some testing

wink Jel

Keep both, unless you need the space

BTW what is the fix you got from MarkEAW?

Jel its a winvista and win7 reg fix. Been using it for a long time and mentioned in the forums a few times over the the last 4 years or so.

Its a seperate program that reads the eaw.exe in the location that its run from and applys a reg fix, or provides a reg file for you to view and to add to registry.
Its a undocumented DirectDraw fix.

I mention it on my site too.

If you need a link I'll go look it up. (you just don't want to use a wrapper option for color fix at the same time or it gives an error or sothing I forget).

EDIT
The better of the two programs avalable is The DirectDraw Compatibility Tool.

DirectDraw Compatibility Tool works great for me I just point it to the EXE and hit apply and all my screens are crystal clear I had trouble reading some of the plane selection screens when setting up a fly because of the coor of the lettering,,Patched them and they become a solid clear black..For me it's a great tool and very easy to use,,Good show putting that one up Mark

Flying at GameRanger yesterday we noticed that the gunsight toggle was off by default in multiplayer. So we needed to press ALT-G to display the gunsight.
This is a PITA, so I fixed it this morning so that it is on by default smile

Versions 14th Sept

As usual it is a 7-zip self-installer ("EAWVersionsSept14.exe") that needs to be run in your UAW160 folder and it will add today's versions of the exe to your "EAW Versions" folder.

If you are not aware, the gunsight toggle (ALT-G) can be used to switch off the gunsight tor screenshot taking, and then switch it back on again wink

There is a speech patch for the Finnish theatre here:

Finnish Speech Patch

As usual the download is a 7-zip self installer which needs to be run in your "UAW160Multiplayer" folder.
It will add the Speech folder to the Finnish theatre and place two more files in the "LongDirSets" folder.
