I'm only 2 or 3 episodes into it, but I am very impressed. Oddly enough, there are moments when I can't help but think of this character as Borat because of the inescapable similarity in appearance, but at the same time, Sacha is good enough at acting to make me forget his other characters.
The issue is not p*ssy. The issue is monkey.

I've not seen the show but I've known for a long time that Cohen is just as adept at playing dramatic roles as he is comedic roles. Unfortunately, it will be very hard to shake off the mainstream public perception of him being only a comedic actor. Even Jim Carrey was never really able to surmount that.

Just watching the last episode of 'The Spy'. A sort of Israeli 'Homeland' vibe. Rivetting. Sasha Baron Cohen a very competent actor. Didn't realise he was so tall!
