I guys, I need to get back to flying. Right now I can not even set up my " Track IR V 5 " ! a few years ago I was the winner in one of those " who can stay alive and shoot the best" ----- NOT now!

What is the key or keys to let me use the Track 5 system ?

Thanks

Hello my good man! I wish I could help specifically, but I've hardly had time to fly myself. I take it you've installed or re-installed the software and can get that screen with the model of your head so that you can center the view and all that?

If so, then it's "just" a matter of setting things up with your stick (optional I guess, but I mapped the recentering key to a button on my stick), abd thenb telling WOFF what's going on. That's the trouble - you set these things up and it works great, and a couple of years later you don't have a clue as to what you did!

Best to you, glad to see you around!

I don't believe there are any keys involved ... you start TrackIR and then when you fire up WOFF and when you fly, presto, it just works.

First thing to do is confirm that TrackIR works by itself; open the TrackIR program full screen and you should see TrackIR moving your head/view around. I am guessing you've probably done that already.

If TrackIR then doesn't work in WOFF I recall there was a trick to getting it to recognize CFS3 ... updating the TrackIR software perhaps, or having the TrackIR program search for new games ... I can't quite remember so hopefully someone else can jump in and help.

Cheers!

The tilde (~) key at the top left of the keyboard will toggle the TrackIR on and off. If it has been inadvertently pressed, the head tracking doesn't function until you press it again.

Not sure you mean by "setup" - a new installation, or it is already setup a long time ago but it's not working. Details always helps.

I just found this with a quick google but it's old so something won't be the same anymore. If your hardware is already setup fine, then you can skip to around 4 mins 10sec on this video..
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKS1YcEcqTo bit out of date with versions and so on though.

This one is newer, if you have plugged it in OK etc, then skip to around 3.20

Driver software for Trackir is from https://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/
