A slit trench at RAF Gravesend
My work on the Iraq theatre has been on going and is not yet finished, but Mr Jelly has made beta package of the the scenario for 1.6. This gives you the Middle East theatre.

This was principally set up to model the brief Iraq campaign of 1941, which pitched the instructors and students of No.4 Flying training school at Habbiniya with their adapted training aircraft, together with scratch RAF reinfoecements against the Axis allied Iraqi Government and its German and Italian allies.

However the base and location layout enable you using the DAW plane sets to make missions in the 1941 Syrian campaign, with the RAF against the Vichy French defenders.

You can also use the DAW plane sets to set up missions defending the towns and RAF bases in Egypt and Palestine against the Italian, German and Vichy French bombing raids of 1940-43, and the return RAF raids on the Italian bases in the the Dodecanese, and Vichy French bases in Syria.

My thanks in helping to make the middle east thetre go Col Gibbon who made the terrain and a number of the ground objects including the famous Rolls Royce armoured cars of the RAF Regiment, the fort at Rutbah, and the runway layout at Habbaniya, Pobs who made other objects, Flyright, Claudio, Freddy B, Flying Tiger, Jan Tuma, JulioJ, RedEyes, Iron Mike, and Rotton50, amongst others, who had a big hand in the original and later aircraft set, Knegel who did FMs, and Gerry Sames for his detailed work on the Arabic speech pack

That's using Julio Junqueira's rather beautiful Iraq Environment set, Exquisite.

His hangars are a lot better than my originals smile
