The instruments on the play view without cockpit shows only the Altimeter in the instruments overview on this page.
There were more before, and i especially miss those related to RPM, and speed maybe ...

Thus the overlay is not as it was, this happened since i reinstalled windows among things, please see pictures ....
The Q is: where can you set these, in some ini file? Looked through all, but not there IMO. Thanks, J

The correct "WWV (Wonder Woman View) panel (for Hurricane) is this:



I try changing from "sim" mode for "game" mode - what looks your are using, but always see instruments like above in "WWV".

Then, this work OK before and stop work after Windows reinstall, or never work?

What your Video Card (model, memory).

What resolution and mode (Full Screen, Pseudo, OFF = windowned) you are playing.

Post a screen of "Realism" options

Anyway, looks likes something is corrupted, try renaming the folder:

...\Documentos\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover for something, ex. put a -X after dover

and start game again, this will create a new copy of default files, and test.


Or in Steam interface select Cliffs of Dover > Properties > Local Files and run "Verify integrity of game files".

Hi Sokol1. I still use an ASUS radeon R7 360 OC, it runs 60fps,has 4k and display-port, but latter is barely functioning, so i use 1920x1080; it's outdated, i know, i am saving for a wholly better game PC.

I'll followed your tips .. there were errors. The display is back OK, but i had to reinstall all key mappings and joystick axis settings LoL. still a mess.
For some reason loading a backup of confUser did not work. The screwed up view was back again. Now where are the settings for this in confUser.ini I wonder ...

ADDED: went through 2 confUser.ini files in Notepad, and copied some files from the fresh one to do with HotKey and view ... EUREKA !

VGA are OK.

Restoring the game, INI files are overwrite and you need reassign joysticks and custom keyboard commands.

What you change and save is in ConfUser.INI in

...\Documentos\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\

Pls see earlier post above your latest input, i fixed it ..... thanks again ... just played a quicky for a while, and i really like that Hurricane 100 oct in Cliffs, better than any Spit in BOX.

PS how is the Amazon firefighting business going?, it's all of a sudden out of the news here.
Has the MS flight sim a FireFighter plane on board? Love to see that in stead of bombing missions. J
