This thing has got to go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3ZrtLnAe_U

I'm willing to give it away just to not see it hit a landfill. (If you want to throw money at me for giggles, I'm not going to say no!)

I've got an ATC-810 restoration project coming soon and I really need the space that thing takes up.

I've also got a Bell Jet Ranger helicopter fuselage section that can be had at the same time, also free. (If you want the Jet Ranger, you have to take the Series One as well!)

I'm located in Graham, Washington. Come save these things!

The Series One cockpit includes a padded seat and the beginnings of a hall-based stick base.

The Jet Ranger includes some dead grass and some dirt. wink (it's sitting outside in the weather - has been since it was inflicted upon me a some years ago).

Thanks all!

g.

My wife, would, kill, me.

In all honesty, if I can figure out a place to store this I might just come and get this. My son is moving out soon and I will soon have his old bedroom as my own 'game' room. But that isn't for a few months and if I put this thing in my family room I will end up sleeping in it until he moves out.

Let me check to see if there is room in my shed for this. If you can fire me the dimensions it would be helpful. I have a Volair sim setup that I could probably modify to work with the cockpit.

Graham isn't very far away.

You may live a little longer. smile The '109 cockpit is going to the CAP squadron at Fairchild this weekend. Sorry! I hadn't had a chance to update this post.

That being said, the Jet Ranger is still available.

The sims I've seen built from these, they cut the fuselage right behind the cockpit wall and only use that. For dimensions, the door it's sitting in front of is around 16' wide.

Tnx!

You're welcome. I couldn't stand to see the poor thing go to a landfill.

Sounds good. The Jet Ranger cockpit I know would be a no go. She wouldn't allow a real airframe in the house, under any circumstances.

If, for some reason, the CAP squadron does flake out, let me know. I have space in the shed until my son moves out. He just got a job as an mechanical engineer for the FAA up in Des Moines but doesn't want to move out for a few months so he can get enough cash available for both an apartment and a down payment on a new car.

Bummer. I'm in Portland and was going to offer to come get it for the WAAAM museum in Hood River. But CAP is a great cause too. :-)

I have a project plan to put a flight sim in a youth area for older kids and even adults to experience some immersive dogfights. Great job on it. It looks excellent.
