Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Someday your life will flash in front of your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching.

These United States of America
What a horrific scenario to be in. Especially when night sets in and you can't see what you're walking into or about to or find yourself in the middle of. I believe that WW2 era soldiers who campaigned in really wild, remote areas of the world saw some things that would really astound us. There are bizarre almost otherworldly stories that came out of locations like Solomon Islands, Guadalcanal even to this day I believe.

Can't remember the first time I read about it or even what book but the images my mind conjures up of what happened still chills me just as much now as it did way back when.

Naunton Beauchamp Worcestershi...
I'm sure I read somewhere that many more forces personnel on all sides succumbed to disease, animal and insect ravages than injuries or death from combat or brutal incarceration by the Japanese.
The Pacific theatre was often referred to as the 'forgotten war' by embittered veterans here in the UK.

Heard about this maybe ten years ago, and suddenly I want some Arma 3 modder to make saltwater crocs as this could be a nastily enjoyable scenario...in the warm cozy comfort of my home, with a glass of scotch near to hand, and the lights on.

What kind of car is that? What does it matter? When I drive it, I'm Steve McQueen

That freakin shark in Crysis scared me more than anything in that game.

Look for me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Tic Toc...or anywhere you may frequent, besides SimHq, on the Global Scam Net. Aka, the internet.
I am not there, never have been or ever will be, but the fruitless search may be more gratifying then the "content" you might otherwise be exposed to.
