So i was just testing to see if the old M1Edit dos program works in dosbox still and it does and it is great! I made this tought little mission, mainly one to see a battle with some Comanches, Hoklums and Havoc's in the fray. I think i may have made it too hard though and the m901 tow is off the map and i think stuck behind a river so it doesnt really play a part

if you are one windows 10 and still need to get m1tp2 working again there a a few good youtube tutorials for it now that get it going for the software version

but also note with glide setting m1tp2 can freeze at random times and you need to access task manager to close it which if that happens you need to make sure you have task manager set to appear on top in its options before hand, otherwise a system restart is the only solution

yes, well the m1edit program is easy to use with dosbox, one could make far better missions with it than i have but i just wanted to test things again

in the mission the Opfor will be coming from several directions to capture the town, a Leopard Section is already there and some retreating light armor will try to reach it - if you could get the light armour back to town that might help with the defense, as well as trying to get your M1a2S there, though opfor helo support will be trying to pick you off too. -I played this with the 1.1 version of M1TP2, i have not tried 1.2 version with it, perhaps the AI in teh 1.2 version is less savage with the helos as that tends to be the case with the 1.2 patch (hence why i like to stick with 1.1.)
