OP updated to v1.10 Installing SweetFX for WOFF 1-2-3 resets a number of settings in WOFF Workshop (but not all). Version 1.10 is now using the default WOFF values in this reset. Be sure to check Workshop after installing this mod to change any settings back to values you were running other than default. Special thanks to Robert Wiggins for turning around an auto-installer for this update so quickly!
Dogfighting is what you do "after" you drop your bombs and blow something up! Can you say "JABO!"

Hi Duke,
WOFF 3 is working differently than WOFF 2, in that it will crash after you've made changes in Workshop when you write protect the D3D8.ini file. WOFF 2 would let us get away with write protecting the D3D8, but it was also trying to overwrite the file as that is why we had to write protect it. And any Workshop changes it tried to overwrite were not succeeding.
So I really don't think we were doing it quite right with WOFF 1 and 2. This new approach lets us run SweetFX and save our changes from Workshop, something that wasn't happening in WOFF 2 on anything written by Workshop to the D3D8.ini file, and probably not in WOFF 1 either (although I don't remember).

Duke, I'm glad you're so curious about this...version 1.10 isn't right at all. Have you ever had one of those days? I've got v1.20 working on my computer right now and I'll send it to Robert Wiggins for an auto-installer one more time. Hopefully, with Robert's blessings and spare time, I'll be able to put up the new download link in the next day or two. Sorry, folks.

Hi Banjoman, No, the one you've got is just fine! Its when I try to write it up all fancy as an official mod that I can't seem to get this one right And its not a hard mod, but I found every way to pack it up wrong when I sent it to Robert for the auto-installer...twice! Robert has already sent me a note and he now has v1.20 to be put into an auto-installer. So I'm hoping to have v1.20 ready for folks later today or tomorrow, and then I'll also send it on to OBD for their website. Cheers!

If Multisampling=1, which means AA is off, do you, guys, use the option SSAA - supersampling ? Does this have effect, if AA is off ? Thank you

Hi Bronnx,
SweetFX cannot run at the same time as CFS3 in-game anti aliasing. Its one or the other. So when this mod sets NoMultisampling=1 it has disabled WOFF in-game anti aliasing no matter what the settings are in workshop.
So if you are using "Override Application" in your video card for AA this mod will have no effect on your AA. If you are using "Enhance Application" or if you are strictly using CFS3 in-game AA set in WOFF workshop, then this mod will disable it.

Hi all new user to WOFF UE i am trying to get my head warped around the install process for SweetFX and so far the game just comes up with the game terminated prematurely error. I have JSGME and the JSGME config files in the OBDSoftware/WOFF folder. i then ran the SweetFX for WOFF UE v1_20 by Bucksnort application this added the mods folder and in that i have the SweetFX for WOFF 1-2-3 V1_20 by Bucksnort folder the JSGME Confid file and a SweetFX text file. I did a fresh install of the game then installed the patch then ran the DX 9 install ???? help Install directory as shown in the images. This is the game crash image thanks for any help.
