I have a question from a while back. Where in the "legacy" IL2 directory can I find the screens that the program displays when the sim is loading? Also, what is their format (bmp, jpg etc)? Asking because I'd like to replace some of the ahistorical ones.

Been playing since 2004 and not one of those screens looks familiar to me... There are several background.tga files that might be what you are trying to find though?
