When are you getting the CTD?
I've tried it a few times with the one I uploaded, and can't get it to CTD. But when I build the code myself, without any changes, then I get a crash and error.
The one I'm seeing is when entering the KA50 cockpit, and the error in the debug log is;
ASSERT c > 0 && c < NUM_CHARACTERS (...\modules\graphics\monofont.c:408)
I'm seeing some weird characters on the texture before the cannon is activated. If I restart my laptop, it works once, then after that, it always does a CTD. So I think it's something not being initialised/de-initialised properly, and the text being shown is still in memory, and gets bigger than the allowed length of 128 chars, hence the error above.
EDIT: I've fixed the issue. There was a single line of code missing. Ok, so it was an important line, but one #%&*$# line
