That are not super expensive but still gives you decent sound, everything is either tuned to either ultra bass in sacrifice of other frequencies or lord knows what frequency its tuned for and some even with bass the sound is stale as hell. #%&*$# hip hop generation ! i already gave up trying to find "pc speakers" not only those are dead, but the majority that remained seems to be usb powered...yeaaaah,nope. i'm really start to regret selling my father custom speakers (they were studio tuned but huge, no way i could fit them in my room)

Still lurking about
I couldn't agree more. I hard a hard time finding decent PC speakers myself. The days of Bose, Creative Labs and Logitech offering good quality for a "fair" price are gone. I got these as a consolation. They are not great, but they do a decent job for a casual user.

While Yamahas NS-10 studio monitors are a legend, some think the HS series (because of there white cone) are the legends substitute now day´s. Actually quite far from that but never the less still sound good and do have a more of a "hi-fi" sound to them. Not totally flat in there spectrum.
I own the Yamahas MSP-5, which in my opinion are better then the HS series. But there´s plenty of other quality PC speakers out there, just depends where your looking.

There's a reason I keep fixing my Klipsch 4.1 promedia speakers. They take an hour or so to warm up so sound comes out, but I love them. I've replaced several capacitors, including a really powerful 200v one, as well as a rectifier and a resistor, but alas, I can't get to the root of the problem as to why they take so long to start producing sound. Something to do with the amp, but I'm not an electrician, and nothing inside seems to be busted from visual inspections, so I resort to tapping the subwoofer, unplugging, then letting sit for a half hour or more before plugging in again. Still, they have awesome sound. In five or six months I'll have to sell them and get new ones when I move...
Or find another set on Ebay somewhere.

Thought you were looking to put a cb radio in your car!
This youtube channel does a good job of comparing. Best listened to with headphones to hear the differences well, but a good representation. https://www.youtube.com/user/skubny
I still have my Logitech Z5500s, but that set is still so nice it got bumped to the bedroom for the 5.1.

I thought exactly the same thing. Maybe Blade wanted to pretend to be Cledus from Smokey and the Bandit?
